PokerInCanada.com's largest and richest tournament ever is entering its final stages.

Thousands of poker players from around the world took part and now only 6 remain. The fight is on for a share of the massive prize pool.

The players are being whisked away to London in first class style to play the final table LIVE on December 1st. The winner alone will take home $200,000. Who will come out on top of The $500,000 Poker Shootout?

Comments: Kent is a man after my own heart - after finishing second in the online event, knowing that he had just won himself a big chunk of cash; he had a quick 'celebration' with his wife (who was already planning their trip!), Kent then went to the hockey! At 32 Kent is a seasoned player, he started at the tables when he was a mere 12 years old (obviously playing for baseball cards)! Comments: Gilberto is a relative newcomer to poker having only been playing since the start of 2005, but his skill is obvious as this was the man that came out top of the pile in the online part of the tournament earning himself extra chips in the live event in London. 29 year old Gilberto of Aurora, Colorado will be representing El Salvador. Comments: At 63 years of age Harry is the oldest member of the elite few taking part in the $500,000 shoot-out and he will be putting all that experience to good use when he faces down the other 5 players in London. A resident of Toronto, Canada, Harry has chosen to represent Finland at the final table where he will be taking on his compatriot for the Big Cash prize. Favourite hand: Full-House.

Comments: 35yr old Jason of Coburg, Canada was introduced to poker by an old work buddy who would take his pocket change during their breaks! That old buddy of his sure taught him well as Jason is now in with a shot at a $200,000 payout! Jason will be representing the United Kingdom at the main event so he will have the advantage of home territory. Favourite Hand: The one that wins!!!

Comments: Lexa79 of Helsinki, Finland has been playing the game online for just over a year and is obviously a fast learner. Tomi is a strong player, playing very tight poker until the opportunities arise, and when they do you had better watch out! Tomi says he only actually got excited about winning his $500,000 seat a few days after the online event - it took that long to sink in! Favourite Hand: AA.

Comments: At the tender age of 23, Michael is the youngster of the group, but his obvious skill at the tables is not to be underestimated!
