Day 7 of the race for a seat at the final table of the WSOP Main Event has ended.

9 participants remain on the battle for a seat at the final table. A field of 6,844 registered for the most prestigious No-Limit Hold'em Event adding up a total of up to $64,333,600 in the prize pool. The winner will receive $9,119,517.

Last player to be eliminated was Dean Hamrick making Craig Marquis the ninth player to enter final table. Hamrick moved all in for 3,420,000 when Craig Marquis moved all in over the top and the action folded around the table. The cards were turned up.

Hamrick: A♠ | J♣

Marquis: Q♥ | Q♣

The flop was K♣ | 10♥ | 3♦. Marquis still led, but Hamrick picked up a straight draw. The turn was?10♦ which didn’t help Hamrick. A K♠ fell on the river, eliminating Hamrick in tenth place. The 25 year-old took home $591,869 for his finish.

Upon a joint decision made by the WSOP, ESPN and the WSOP Players Advisory Council, the final table will only be played on November 9th and 10th.
