Frequently Asked Questions about League of Champions LAPT Promotion
Q. What's this all about?
A. You can win a fabulous trip and share in 600k in prizes! Our League of Champions event will award one trip for 2 and one tournament entry into a major tournament. Various trip alternatives will be introduced throughout the tournament cycle. The first prize to be announced is airfare and hotel for 2 and one entry into the Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT) in Punta del Este, Uruguay! The Top 20 players in the League of Champions Final will win incredible prizes such as: Cash, iPhones and entry into the Irish Masters Challenge.
Q. Great! Who's eligible?
A. Players who take part in our League of Champions tournaments that will run twice a week: Wednesday and Saturday at 9PM EST between April 19th and July 26th. The Top player from each night is fast-tracked to the final and the top 30 players which accumulate the most points in our Tournament Leader Board will enter the League of Champions Final.
Q. What exactly can I win?
A. The winners of the Wednesday and Saturday tournaments win a free entry into the League of Champions Final and the chance to win a trip for two to the Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT) in Punta del Este, Uruguay. (Two trips plus one entry and fee for the tournament.)
The Top 30 players who accumulate the most points in our Tournament Leader board will also win an entry to the League of Champions Final.
The Top 20 players in the League of Champions Final will win prizes such as: Cash, iPhones and entry into the Irish Masters Challenge.
Q. So, let’s say that I’m #23 on the Leaderboard, do I still get a seat to the finals?
A. Yes you do. The Top 30 players who accumulate the most points in our Tournament Leader Board will also win an entry to the League of Champions Final.
Q. How do I enter these Tournaments?
A. You can play as many times as you want on our tournaments that will run twice a week: Wednesday and Saturday at 9PM EST between April 19th and July 26th 2008.
Q. Sounds great, but what exactly is included in the Grand Prize Package?
A. The Grand Prize Package includes, flight and accommodations for the winner and a guest, one $2,500 buy-in for the Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT) in Punta del Este, Uruguay, as well as $1,000 for spending money during your stay in Uruguay. Additional first prize choices will be announced throughout the promotion.
